Karen has been in constant touch with the Post Office over the future of Harrow Road since it was announced that the Post Office are looking for a commercial partner to replace the existing service. Karen contacted Paddington Development Trust and Westminster Council to urge them to develop a ‘standby’, drawing on resources given to them by the government for community services, if the commercial option is not viable. However, at this stage, the office is not under a closure threat, and the Post Office have indicated it could be up to a year before there are further developments.
